copy and paste packing slip

Postby DavidM » Wed Nov 25, 2009 12:26 pm

Hello,
I just upgraded to v10sp1. I love the way the Orders and Packing slips look now in ie8. They look great printed from ie too.
All my orders are shipped by fulfillment so I have to send a copy of the packing slip by email to the shipper. Prior to sp1 I used to be able to view the packing slip in ie, select the text, copy and past it into OpenOffice Writer and it looked pretty good. Now the formatting is lost when I do this. Any help on getting the formatting back would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

Install a printer driver that makes pdf files. Then print to that printer and just email the pdf file.

Thanks Jim,
The only problem there is that it's not editable. Since all my orders are handled by fulfillment I need to send an "Order" and a "Packing Slip" to the company shipping my products. The "Order" is for my supplier and acts as my PO to them and the "Packing Slip" goes with the shipment. I really need to have an editable, properly formatted copy to work with like I had before sp1.

Maybe the css needs to be "in-line" rather than in a folder on the host?
