Recurring Billing

Postby TrueShip » Wed Feb 28, 2007 2:21 pm

While we can support recurring billing today through Authorize.net, it leaves a lot to be desired. It does not deliver any control to our clients to activate, modify or cancel their account. For us, its a manual process that needs constant maintenance.

Subscription based services are so common today, that users expect a level of control over their account information and status.

Please consider a consumer-facing account page for recurring billing.

Thanks.

Recurring Orders

I agree. We want a coffee of the month club or other subscription program. Other ecommerce softwares do this, why can't Shopsite? How hard could it be?

This is a must.

We have another cart, besides shopsite and more then half use the auto ship feature.

These are automatic orders!!!

Customers normally forget to order refills (people have many things going on at one time) and if they can set up auto shipping, it makes their life a little easier.

Plus, once setup, they have to go out of their way to cancel or change shipping options. Normally, they have to go out of their way to place an order.

It's a no brainer.

Recurring Orders & Subscriptions

Postby coffeeman » Tue Jan 22, 2008 10:34 am

So, is this going to happen? Some websites get a third or more of their business from subscriptions, automatic order refills, etc. For example, a coffee website would have a "coffee club" wherein coffee is automatically shipped every month or quarter, etc. Can somebody at Shopsite at least tell us: 1. "We are working on this" or 2. "We are not working on this and never will".

As I said before, your competitors offer this.

Why no answer?

Postby climb512 » Tue Mar 11, 2008 1:01 pm

I am looking to buy a cart today, but must have this question answered as we will want recurring billing in the future. How can it be that no one from ShopSite has answered this question in the months since it was posted?
