Registration Link Code - How to use it?

Hi,

I've completly set up all my registration pages and custom buttons.

The only left i need to do is link the registration system to my homepage.(It already works from the shopping cart but i want it on the first page also).

In the registration section in the back office of shopsite and in the configure section the is a lump of code that says to copy and paste if i need a link.

I am using order anywhere for my website. So, I copy and paste the code into dreamweaver to use for my registration button but all i get is a load of code showing on the web page and no link.

Do I need to copy ALL of this code or just a section of it. I thought links had to be like href="..." but this starts with some java script.

How to do this would close up the registration section of my website so thanks in advance for your help.

You need all of the code in the box. The link does more than just send the shopper to the cart. If they are logged in it tells them they are and I believe displays their name. If they are logged in it changes the login link to a logout link and some other stuff. So you need it all.
