Shipping Freight Module

Postby nicolas » Tue Mar 18, 2008 8:16 am

Hello,

I'd like to know if someone plans to write a shipping freight module for shopsite or has already done this ?
If not, would you be interested in writing one for us ?

Please let me know

Regards,

I am also interested in a freight module that kicks in for the over 150 lbs. limit that is set for UPS.

Add freight

This would be a very good addition.

However, we also need to have the ability to add the actual zip code where our items are shipping from for each product -- this goes for both UPS and UPS Freight. This is essential today because of dropshipping.

Adding "ship from" zip code along with adding UPS Freight, would make my shipping much easier & much more accurate than it is currently.

Freight module

You may want to try freightapi.com. They have a product that goes by line item, uses origin zip codes and also deals with UPS/Fedex and common carrier LTL freight. Good luck. Still requires a programmer to make the connection.

Its new, not yet, but it works. Its dependent on programmers working with Shopsite to make the connection, but many programmers trying to integrate have taken a job with others instead of completing the work.
