multiple boxes in one order

I have several products that if added to the cart together will total over 70 pounds, the limit for fedex home delivery by ground.

when this happens shopsite assumes they are shipping in one box and forces the customer to call the merchant. is there a way to set up shipping so that it knows anything over x pounds will be shipped in 2 boxes?

If you specify a container size for the product then ShopSite will assume that it needs to be in a box by itself. So for large items assign them a container size . For items not assigned a container size they will assume that they can be boxed together upto the max weight set in the shippers confiuration settings (ups, USPS, fedex)
