page spacing requirements, need to short input field

Due to the layout of a page, I need to shorten the length of the input field generated by [-- SC_Payment --], when the selected method is Credit Card.

System sets at 30, need 20, do not want to write javescript with nodes to correct.

Does not appear to be an option in the Commerce setup module.

I don't believe there is an easy way to change the size of the payment fields.
