Using SSL with shopsite

I bought a dedicated SSL certificate and was wanting to have the shopping cart section show it so it has the padlock on the browser. Is there a way for me to redirect the checkout to use the certificate or do I have to ask Hostcentric(Dread...)? My hosting services section is not accessable. I don't want it showing on the whole site as it would keep popping up that some things aren't secure when pictures are on the page...I got off the windows server and do have httacces now.

Without access to the "hosting service" page in the backoffice, you will have to ask your host to make this type of change in ShopSite. Your host should provide you with a secure checkout using a shared SSL certificate for the checkout by default.
