Search template

Hi all,

I am trying to find search_link - default link template for page links on the search results screen. --> I am using shopsite v10, i tried to look for this template in the Advanced Page under Custom Templates but can't find it.

Does anyone know where it is located at? Thanks

The template assigned in the Preferences > Search Settings > Search Layout > Link Template Override: is the one that contains the definition of what the link will look like. It will be in a section called [--DEFINE LINK_TO_PAGE--]

Note that this does not affect the link if it is going to the product more information page. That link can not be formatted differently except using a style if one is defined for it.

Can the search_link template be modified in Custom Templates or somewhere else?

Yes, but it is a Page template, not a Search template, so go to the Page/Product menu instead of the Advanced menu, and use the Copy ShopSite Template function in the Pages section to locate and copy the search_link template.
