Cart product return links not functioning properly

I use the order anywhere links on my site and have an HTML page with an embedded flash application in it. Everything functions fine but when an item in loaded into the cart, and I click the cart product return links (either text or image) the cart links refer me back to the Flash .SWF file instead of the HTML document.

I end up with the flash application without it's HTML template.

This seems to only happen in IE 7 or 8. Does anyone know how to fix this or which cart tags / includes should be addressed?

You can set where the continue shopping button goes on the Commerce Setup > Order system > Shopping cart screen in the section "Return To Shopping Button:"

It can be either the "last page ordered" from or a specific url.

The "last page ordered from" is derived from the browser http-referrer variable. So what ever that is is where you will return to. It appears that the way you are doing the add to cart is causing the referrer to be the SWF file so that is where you are returned to.

Thank you for the reply. I understand your response about the "continue shopping" button but could tell me if the actual product links in the cart , both the image text link next to the product, are also generated in the same way as the "Return to shopping "button or are these generated differently
