Web component in Extra Fields

Does the "extra field" accepts web component include page content code?
Example, in the extra field i want to use this code: <!--webbot bot="Include" U-Include="url path of include page" TAG="BODY" --> My browser doesnt show up anything in this area of the page.

Any valid html should be acceptable in the custom fields. The field cannot however, contain the ShopSite template tags that are like this [--xx --].

Note that the pages are built as static html so if you need a server side include you will have to have the appropriate extension for the filename and have your server configured to recognize that type of file
