Attributes of Images

Why do the images uploaded using ftp have vspace and hspace of 3 each by default? How to configure the image so that it will be 0 by default? Do I have to go through each image all the time to change its attributes?

Go to:
Images -> Configure
and under the "Image Layout Defaults" section you can set the default spacing. Then, you can highlight all of your FTP'ed images and choose "Reset Attributes" for these defaults to take effect.
