Installing McAfee Code

I am trying to have my website verified by McAfee and this is their instruction. Can anyone tell me how to access the root directory? Thank you.

To prove you are authorized to represent a site, we ask you to place a specially named, blank file in your root Web directory. Once this file is created, click the "Verify" button to have our servers look for the file on your site. Please be sure that both your site and the verification file are publicly accessible.

This would be the same location as your homepage (index.html) and webpages for your website.

Thanks Rob. Do I go to edit page content for that page? if so, which field does it go?

You would probably create a new page in ShopSite and give it a filename to match what McAfee wants you to put in place so they can verify your site.
