A customer emailed me to say that he got caught in a loop at checkout:
Tried to put in a different zip code for the shipping address than he had for the Billing address and customer registration.
A message comes up that says you have to go back to customer registration and make sure the zip codes are the same (to paraphrase)
Then the same thing happened to me when I tried to send an order for a customer and left the shipping info blank. It would not proceed to the next window until I put the same zip code in the shipping address as was in the billing address.
Cannot figure out why. Any guesses.

When registration is enabled the addresses for billing and shipping are captured at the time of the order. When the shopper comes back and orders again and are signed in the addresses they used previously are used for the new checkout. On the shopping cart screen they will see a list of ship to addresses that they have shipped to previously with the radio button for the last one used selected. There will also be a radio button for New ship to address. If they want to change the address they need to select this option before proceeding to the billing screen. If they just change the address on the billing screen they will receive the message that they need to go back and change the zip on the previous screen. This is required so that proper tax and shipping can be charged since they are computed on the initial cart screen based on the zip code used there.
