Major Shopsite 8.3 problems

Hi,

For about 4 weeks I'm trying to set up a Shopsite 8.3 shopping cart, to no avail.

I have 14 categories and a bunch of products assigned to those categories. The shop home page shows the correct order of categories, all other pages show whatever order they want.

When I log into the shop admin and try to arrange the correct order for each category I see all kinds of crap. For example, when I click on the 2nd selection from top and hit "Arrange", I don't see the 14 categories I want to arrange but I see 17 or 25 or 31 or whatever.

Another thing is that I had all products assigned to the correct page (category) but some of the categories show absolutely nothing or only a fraction of assigned products.

This goes on and on. The vendor's tech support is a call center in the Philipines and calling them for help is a total waste of time.

Is there anyone out there that could help me?
