Free Shipping not working with UPS

I have enabled the UPS shipping module and that works great. However, when customers order totals $75.00 or more, I want them to have free shipping. I have enabled that portion of the shipping preferences and have checked it several times. The free shipping option is not showing up when I had $75 or more worth of merchandise in the cart.

Why is this happening?

It works for me.

Do you have a country selected? And are you shipping to that country? Is the Zip code you are using in one of the exclude boxes?

Note that the Free Shipping option may not be automatically selected on the shopping cart screen if the shopper has previously selected a different shipping option.

Thanks, no I didn't have a country selected because I thought the US was by default. The settings options were a bit misleading but I now I got it fixed.
