Music downloads using Starter edition

Hello,
I would like to know some suggestions for setting up my store to download .mp3 files. I do have a website already, so I have the ability to host files, but I would like to know if the best way would be setting up the links directly on my site or just having a tab as a link to the store. If I would just use the store - what steps should I follow?

Are you planning on selling the downloads? If so and you want to use ShopSite to handle the sales and downloads then you would need to get the Pro version since that is the only version that supports digital downloads.

If you are just giving away the downloads you would just put a link to the download on your site. This could be done as part of the page text or part of the product description.

Sorry about that - should have been more specific. yes, I am going to be selling them. Thanks for the reply! That's the answer that I thought, just maybe there was another way to do it using html or something.
