International shipping address

Customer from Australia tried to place an order but during checkout, shopsite allowed the zip code and country, but didn't have a space for for the territory or state within the country. It gives the option for shipping to Canada. How do I solve this problem for shipping to other countries. All of the countries are checked for USPS shipping and I know which ones are not allowed so this is not one of the problems.

You can either make the "State" field a text box instead a dropdown, so any customer can enter any information for this field, or edit the list of States in the backoffice under:
Commerce Setup -> State and Country
(you can type right in this dropdown box)

to add desired states/territories, or add an option such as "None" or "Other" to accomodate international customers.
