Credit card security-how can I change settings in SS?

I received a chargeback this morning from Discover-they charged back a transaction where the information entered by the customer (billing address) did not match the info that Discover had on file.

My gateway provider says that Shopsite can be configured such that a transaction will be rejected if the information entered by the customer does not match the information on file.

Can someone familiar with this tell me where in the application this can be done.

It depends on which payment gateway you are using but the general setting would be called something like "Reject on AVS failure". You would find it at Commerce Setup > Payment > and then in the Processor section near the bottom of the screen click the Configure Processor button.

Thanks for your response.

I'm using Chase Paymentech.

In the setup for "Configure Processor" the "Reject on AVS failure" button does not appear. Does this mean that I don't have this option?

If there is no option in ShopSite to configure it, check you gateway interface to see if there is an option there to set it.
