Question about SEARCHRESULT_FORM

Postby tfoy » Thu Jul 24, 2008 2:41 pm

On our Site we currently have the SEARCHRESULT_FORM configured for the bottom of our search results page.

This includes the Pagination, Results Per Page, Sort By, and the Search Input Field with Button.

I was wondering is it possible to also add the Pagination, Results Per Page, and the Sort By at the top of the search results page? I don't want to have the Search Input Field and button at the top, but do want to leave what we have already set up at the bottom of the page.

Thanks
Tom

Check out the 'Search Form' section of the documentation:

Hi Loren,

Thanks for the reply. I had already looked at the documentation, but was not sure if there was any other way to modify the Search Form.

Problem is if the Display search field is disabled it then won't show at the bottom of the page either which is where I want it to show.

I am trying to place the Pagination, Results Per Page, and the Sort By at the top of the search results page then search Input Box, Search Button, Pagination, Results Per Page, and the Sort By at the top of the search results page again at the bottom.

I am thinking maybe by disabling the display search field and using

[-- SEARCHRESULT_FORM FORM_ONLY --]
[-- SearchPrevNext --]
Showing: [-- SearchResultCount --] [-- SearchResultsPerPage --] [-- SearchSortBy --] </form> at the top and bottom of the site and adding my own search input box under that at the bottom of the page similar to what in our Start Shopping area in the left navigation.

Thanks Again,
