"Add to Cart" Question

Is it possible to add an item to the cart and not have the person automatically taken to the shopping cart?

In other words they would stay on the page they are currently on?

Sure.

Under Commerce Setup...Order System...Shopping Cart.

Uncheck "Default for the "Show me my shopping cart" checkbox".

Check "Do not display the the "Show me my shopping cart" check box".

I wouldn't recommend it if you're not using the Mini-Cart on each page.....

Yes is would be global for your store, so you can't do in on a per product basis or on a per shopper basis.
