How to add search textbox to my custom template?

Hi all,

I would like to know how i can add a search textbox on my left navigation. Any template that i can use as a template? Here is the link to my shopsite store: http://x-men-paradise.just-marvel-x-men.com/index.html

I basically want the search textbox to appear perhaps on the top of the left navigation or below. Thanks!
