'shipping' email problem in ShopSite/Shipworks

Hello - Here's one that I have been manually fixing for over a year, but would like to see if there's an automatic fix somehow:

When one of my customers enters a different shipping and billing address, their email is not downloaded into The Shipworks 'Shipping' section, and I cannot email them from Shipworks without manually copying over their email address from the billing section.

Any ideas?

Is ShipWorks using the XML order downloads from ShopSite? The email address is a sub-element in the billing address block in the XML order download, so perhaps if there is a separate shipping address ShipWorks is just using the shipping address block which doesn't contain the email address and forgetting all about anything in the billing address block. You should report this to ShipWorks so they can modify their program to get the email address from the billing address block, regardless of where they are getting the rest of the address info from.
