Java Script not functioning correctly

I'm trying to run the Nifty Corners java script function in a custom template to get a rounded corner template. It works properly outside ShopSite - inside ShopSite though, it is having issues. Here's what's happening:

The JS in the footer is working correctly, calling to authorize.net. Any hints would be appreciated - the rounded corner feature is important!

I've tried several things to fix the file, but it's still hanging somewhere mid-process and doesn't display the corners. The only thing I can figure is happening is that there some duplicated function within ShopSite? The JS code creating the rounded corner functions is below, any suggstions would be appreciated!

Are you sure the path to the Javascript is correct? Sometimes the Shopsite pages are in different subfolders.

Meanwhile, that's an awfully complicated Javascript just to get some rounded tab corners. I saw something much simpler just using 2 background images positioned right and left on the style elements that make up the tab (like an li and a span).
