Can anybody please tell me if Ajax add-ons/programming is possible with ShopSite?

Yes, Ajax is possible in any ShopSite template, as it is simply javascript that can be added to any page. You would need a programmer/developer to create Ajax applications though if the built-in javascript features of ShopSite do not suit your needs.

I was under the impression that Ajax only works with PHP framework.

By the way, you seem to be associated with Lexiconn and I am considering Lexiconn for hosting ShopSite. Even their advanced plan, however, offers only 40 GB of bandwidth.

What is the rate for each additional GB of bandwidth? I wrote to Lexiconn directly but haven't received an answer.

Ajax is a framework that can work with many languages. It is often initiated via a javascript call and then can interact server side with php or perl, or any server based language.
