Rewards Balance for Customers?

Is there any way I can see current balance of quantity of product purchased by a registered customer towards rewards without getting his password, etc?

No. The only way to do that would be to download the orders and add up the quantity that the shopper had purchased. The shopper does see how many they need to qualify for a reward when they sign in during the order process.
