Footer not working in More Info Pages

I have included a footer with some links and it works on the normal pages that i have created. But when i include the footers in the more info pages, it does not work.

The links on the footer opens a new window with the specified url using javascript. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Thanks

Sounds like a problem with the [-- DEFINE MORE_INFO_PAGE --] section of your product template. Check this for the [-- FOOTER --] tag and see what other code is around it that might make the links open in new windows. Note that this is not the behavior in any default ShopSite product templates that I am aware of, so it is likely a problem with your specific custom product template.

I looked at the Shopsite template and i think it is similar as well. So there should not really be a problem right? Thanks
