<tbody> tag

Postby GiftSpecialists » Mon Sep 10, 2007 12:53 pm

Hi,

Is there a way to keep ShopSite from adding the <tbody> tag to my tables when using custom templates?

Thanks for any help.

Where are you seeing the <tbody> being added?

It gets added to just about every table that ShopSite creates.

A specify location?

I looked at several pages on your site and at your shopping cart and did a search for <tbody> and couldn't find any. What browser are you using? Maybe the browser is adding it.

I didn't see any <tbody> tags in your store pages or shopping cart source either. And as far as I know, ShopSite has never used any such tag in any default templates or HTML code it creates (although its possible that 3rd-party template writers could add this to their custom templates, of course).

So as Jim says, this tag is likely being added by whatever HTML editor or HTML code viewer that you are using to look at your site's code.

Try just viewing the source in notepad, or FTP to the server and download one of your HTML files and view it in notepad, or use a different browser (Firefox, Opera, etc) to look at your pages and use that browser's View Source function instead of your usual HTML editor/viewer.
