After Sales Email

Hi,
Currently, I am using Shopsite Starter 7.1 and i was just testing out the payment system to make sure everything is working. So i made payment from one of my paypal accounts to the other one configured for Shopsite.

My question is will my customer receive an email thanking him/her for the purchase and be notified that payment has been received? Thanks

Yes, your shoppers should receive an email receipt from ShopSite once the order is completed. If not, then check with your host to make sure the email apparatus on your server is configured correctly.

If your shopper uses PayPal to place their order, they will probably also get an email receipt from PayPal thanking them for the payment to your account, although it won't contain the details of the transaction, just the order total.
