Postby lord » Thu Jul 12, 2007 12:04 am

Hi
I’m new to shopsite. I have one question hope you guys give a nice solution.
This the question :
I want put drop down menu in my product page beside the product image.
We have same size of product but in different pack
Example we have same size paper but sell in different pack like
10 x 20 cm in pack 10
10 x 20 cm in pack 20
10 x 20 cm in pack 30
for each pack and size we use different SKU and it create many page when display at product page. We want reduce the length of product page so for that we want create drop down menu to minimize the page.
I go throw some sample code but not understand..
PLEASE HELP ME ……..

:THANK YOU:

You can use the order options feature if you are going to just change the package size
10 x 20 cm in pack 10
10 x 20 cm in pack 20
10 x 20 cm in pack 30
You can find help on that at http://www.shopsite.com/help/8.3/en-US/ ... tions.html
also look at Order Option Pricing if you have a Pro level store.

If you require SKU then each item type will need to be a separate product. You would then create a master product and assign the various pack sizes to it as subproducts. In this case you could use a custom template to display the the subproducts in a pulldown list. I know there is a message in the forum somewhere that has the code for a sample template but couldn't find it right off. You might look at http://support.shopsite.com/forums/view ... t+dropdown
I think that is where the sample is.
