Hey there, I have the same problem. Clearing cache and cookies fixes it temporarily. I'm using linkpoint too. Who did you talk to to get the patch? Maybe that'll fix mine too.

I don't know about other OS's but Windows 2003 has missed the past two updates. We're still on 8.1.3.1. No updates ...

CGI Errors

I'm running Shopsite on a windows 2003 server.

Can someone tell me how CGI is handled?

We get a lot of cgi errors during checkout and I have got to find a fix for it. One of our customer says she gets it everytime she places an order.

Many times customers call to say they got an error when ...

I am getting lambasted on this issue from our distributors. I switched to Shopsite in order to make things easier. It's certainly easier and much quicker for us to process orders using ShopSite than before.

But my many of my customers that have multiple orders are all saying the same thing that it ...

Index, follow tag

This tag is generated for new pages. If I do not want to have any robots visiting or indexing, can this be removed via ShopSite?

You are able to download the customers name and email within ShopSite.

Under Commerce setup, click Customer Registration, and then the download button.

Here's the help file page for this:

Signing In for every order

I have customers that we drop ship for and they send in many orders at a time.

I'm receiving complaints that after they complete one order and they want to send in their next order, they have to sign in again.

Does an order completion sign the person out? I went through the process myself and was ...

Instead of creating my own page, I thought I'd try to use a Shopsite generated page and just put my form on that page.

I made the folder which contains the Shopsite page require the user name and password and it worked.

I did get the error on another computer but after closing the browser and ...

I set up a password protected directory on a windows 2003 server. I then put a single form on the page that only has one storeid value. This is not a ShopSite page that I'm posting the form from.

I just went in and enabled anonymous access ( no username and password required), reloaded the page ...

Here's an example of how to set this up. It is not possible with straight HTML to have a quantity box. ShopSite doesn't allow that with a drop down menu. You can have a quantity box if you list each item individually but not in a drop down menu format.

The option value number that you see is a ...

PRO 8.1.2 - This error comes up every time with one of my installations (stores). I have the latest updates from Windows both on my browser and on my server (Windows 2003). Using IE, this error pops up. Using Netscape or Firefox, there is no error. The ShopSite knowledge base solution S04243 doesn't ...

Can I edit the page so that the New Ship To comes on top instead underneath the rest of the addresses?

I know there's not a setting but I can edit the file on the server?
